Cindu Thomas- George is a catalyst of inclusion and disrupter of injustice. As the Founder and Principal Trainer of Shakti Training, she specializes in designing and leading professional development experiences that promote inclusion, equity, antiracism, and intercultural intelligence. Cindu is also an award winning tenured professor of Communication Studies at the College of Lake County specializing in Intercultural Communication and Public Speaking and is currently partnering with Northwestern University’s Kellogg School for Nonprofit Management, teaching and coaching on the topic of inclusive leadership. Her passion and commitment for this work extends beyond her career. Cindu is a co-founder of the Chicago Women’s Leadership Accelerator and the South Asian Solidarity Movement.
