Leïla Martial
Leïla Martial is an unclassifiable vocalist, with roots in jazz but driven by boundless curiosity.
Winner of numerous prestigious awards (La Défense, Crest, Victoires du Jazz), she has developed a unique approach to singing, combining scat, imaginary language and improvisation. Her career has taken her from the CNR in Toulouse to international stages.
Passionate about nomadic vocal traditions, she explores the voice as a mobile home vibrating with the world. Trained as a clown, she also incorporates the body, acting and poetry into her performances.
In 2023, she created Jubilä, a solo clown show, a manifesto bringing together 20 years of artistic research.
Her art is a song of life, free, daring and deeply embodied.
