Alvaro Lancellotti

Alvaro Lancellotti, composer, singer, and music producer, has had his songs recorded by renowned artists like Marcos Valle and Maria Rita. He collaborates with notable musicians across generations, including Rogê, Wado, Davi Moraes, his brother Domenico, Roque Ferreira, and Mateus Aleluia, as well as his father, Ivor Lancellotti. After his tenure with Fino Coletivo, Alvaro released his debut solo album, "O Tempo Faz a Gente Ter Esses Encantos," in 2012, featuring tracks like “Sexta-feira” and “Autoajuda” in HBO's “Preamar.”
In 2016, he launched “Canto de Marajó,” mixed by Mario Caldato Jr., which earned accolades as one of the year's top albums by O Globo. The album received international recognition, with four tracks on David Byrne's playlist and a vinyl release in Japan by P-Vine. In 2024, Alvaro returns with “Arruda, Alfazema e Guiné,” a collaboration with Amor in Sound, exploring Afro-Brazilian cultures and yoga philosophy, shaped by his experiences in terreiros.
