World in Conversation at Penn State
We are training an “army” of conflict facilitators to enable citizens on opposite sides of any border to build solutions together.
WE ARE:-
- a Center for Public Diplomacy based out of Penn State’s University Park campus
- “bridge people” from many world cultures and social positions, over 30 countries
- using dialogue as a tool in a unique laboratory for engaged learning
WE HAVE:-
- trained over 1500 facilitators in more than 30 countries
- conducted over 57,000 dialogues both in-person and online
- had more than 555,000 individuals participate in “true” public diplomacy
WE NEED:-
- champions to support our work.
- principal gifts to ensure the running of the center.
- donations of all sizes to inch closer to our financial needs.
