We came for the anime and lattes, and we are out of neither.
We're Aviv and Mari: A Japanese and American couple who enjoy watching all types of Anime.
Our name is a spin on the Japanese phrase commonly heard in Anime, "chotto matte", which means, among various possible translations, "wait a moment". "Chotto Latte" can be interpreted as, "let's have a quick latte".
We have both lived in Japan and the US and are bringing our cross-cultural knowledge and linguistic frame-of-reference into our conversations. So, we look forward to bringing more than just hyped up reactions! But, we'll give you some of that, too. 😉
