Pink and Tassel

Hi everyone! My name is Philipp and I’m a big dreamer leaving in a little place called New York City. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a paint brush in my hand. I have always been passionate about revitalizing, reinventing, and reinvigorating obsolete and timeworn pieces of furniture. The phrase “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” conveys each metamorphosis from discarded good to whimsical sculpture has the power to transport you into a magical world.

A few of years ago I decided to step out of my comfort zone and share a piece of myself; my art and techniques with the world! This has been a journey of growth and; learning from my mistakes as well as people who have provided their insights, knowledge, and support. I created Pink and Tassel DIY blog in September 2018; I have devoted myself to design, create, and innovate new art projects every day without fail since then. I hope dedication and passion for art will impact the DIY community.
