Hemarūpa Caitanya Dāsa

Hemarūpa Caitanya Dāsa was born and brought up in Malaysia. His family is originally from Kerala, India. During the 1930s, his grandparents moved to Malaysia - one as a physician and the other as a technician.

He got connected to ISKCON at 19 years old, during his university days. He has a Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering and later worked as a lecturer before moving to India in 2012, on yearly Visa basis. He serves in ISKCON Govardhan Eco Village (www.ecovillage.org.in) as a monk - working for social and spiritual causes (http://www.grd.org.in/)

By nature, he loves languages, cultures and traditional arts.
He also is an environmental enthusiast.
By trait, he is a writer, public speaker and debator - both styles of British Parliamentary and Austral Asians.
He also has participated in many inter faith dialogues.
