Utilize Music Tech to Inspire Gen Z Students
I am a retired music educator (32 years). Now I publish arrangements for trumpet & piano and enjoy performing more than ever! Prior to Covid 19 restrictions, my teaching philosophy centered around how Gen Z students were SO conditioned to "tap & swipe" for their information, motivation & sense of community. My digital platforms for organizing & distributing information to students & families were core elements of my teaching. This Youtube channel was developed to support those efforts and provide my students a place for their virtual performances! Remote learning during the pandemic pushed me to develop new teaching techniques ~ it also pushed me closer to retirement! I believe that Virtual Performances will become core elements of music curriculums in the future and hope you enjoy this platform with your students.
