Waldorf watercolor painting offers a unique way to paint that children really respond to. Vibrant colors are painted onto wet paper, and the colors flow and blend with each other in beautiful ways. The Waldorf philosophy emphasizes creativity and hands-on learning and teaching the whole child,.
WHO WOULD THESE CLASSES BE SUITABLE FOR?
We offer lessons for children, grades 1-5. You do not need to be enrolled at a Waldorf school to enjoy expressive art. This Waldorf based program is a wonderful addition to the curriculum for home-schoolers and anyone who wants to encourage creativity in young artists. It also offers a curriculum based art program for Waldorf Charter Schools and other alternative schools, and their teachers. Because it is "Art for the Whole Child," the lessons offer interaction with literature, history, science and techniques of the Great Masters of Art.
Each week we will have a new video about painting, growing herbs, or seasonal festivals.
