Are you also a fan of those old maxi-extended lp's on which special versions of hit singles used to feature ? Well, I'm DJ Tony (AKA Tony Nascimento, from Brazil) and always loved those vinyls. I'm not a party DJ. In fact, I am a fanatic of good quality music, chiefly from the 1970's, 1980's and 1990's. In the beginning, I started to mix my favorite songs just for fun, but then it grew stronger. I began to learn how to do it better and go beyond fun. I'm always aware at not "destroying" the essence of the original version, which I regard as unique. My only purpose as a remixer is promote the artist's work by giving music fans a chance to experience of listening to some of their favorite songs in mix, remix, 12'', radio edit or extended versions. No money is involved and no intention to do any harm to the original performers or songwriters in relation to the copyright of their songs.
