Ian Cruzen

Not sure how this really all started, but I just found a whole bunch of VHS tapes and started transcribing old commercials. Everyone forgets about the work that goes into making the "bumpers" and some of the really nutty commercials from the 1980's. This is more for me than anyone else. It's kind of a dopey hobby I know, but sometimes it feels like I'm staring back at history when I watch these old tapes. I tried to get the dates in as best I could, but there are no "time stamps" on a lot of the videos. Best I can do is to get it near the year and season. The videos for now come from Houston, TX and Boston, MA. If I stumble across more, I'll put 'em in.

I try to keep it to 80's commercials, but I have a few odds and ends like 'People are Talking" with Tom Bergeron.
