Derez De’Shon has quietly had one of the most successful runs of any underground urban artist due to the mass acclaim of his first billboard hit "Hardaway," off his 2018 project - Pain. The track did so well that 2 Chainz, DJ Envy, and Yo Gotti featured on the official remix. The Pain album also featured Ralo, Birdman, and Mozzy. Derez is in a distribution deal with Venice Innovation labs owned by music mogul and investor “Troy Carter” and managed by Manny “The Connect” Soto of The Connect Entertainment. Derez's influence has been massive, and has been dubbed the Godfather of this entire Pain-Rap movement.Since his debut album In (2018), De'Shon has gone on to release Pain 2 & Pain 3 which charted on the Billboard 200 chart, and had features from Lil Baby, Russ, Mozzy, YFN Lucci, Moneybagg Yo, A Boogie wit da hoodie, Lil Boosie, and lil Durk, with executive production from London On Da Track and 808 Mafia boss, Southside.
