We are a small educational charity, founded in 1985, and based in the United Kingdom, and we try to present the pianola and reproducing piano in a genuinely musical way.
Our website, which is richly illustrated and carefully researched, has a detailed history of these instruments, and a good selection of mp3 audio recordings which may be downloaded free.
The player piano is often not properly understood or played, and the videos on YouTube naturally reflect a wide range of musical standards. We hope our appearance here will encourage others to discover the real music in their music rolls!
