Daniella Perera Studio
Hello! My name is Daniella Perera and I live in the beautiful city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. I grew up in Hong Kong and the UK, and I’m of mixed heritage including Chinese, Sri-Lankan, Dutch and Portuguese.
My background is in Molecular Genetics with French, as well as International Real Estate. For about a decade I worked as a commercial surveyor, but I never felt it was my true calling. Eventually, I let it go to pursue a more creative path. Today I am a Voiceover Talent and Visual Artist.
I focus on three core themes in my artwork:
1. Preserving everyday life for future generations, primarily through a street photography approach.
2. Highlighting history and historic architecture to keep them visible and relevant today.
3. Making or restoring objects, celebrating the value of craft and repair.
