The Public School Musician

Music is for everyone. No matter what the circumstances of your birth, you can be a GREAT musician. Music is a language. Playing an instrument is a skill. Combining both areas of competency allows you to perform music.

You don't have to go to music school to be a great musician or to enjoy performing music. Countless entertainers learned on the bandstand!

The halls of education have a "front door" and "back door." Enter through whichever is open to you. They ultimately lead to the same information. Wealth and opportunity DO help, but dedication wins out in the long run.

This channel's goal: Give back to working-class folks and those who get by with less. As a musician, the bandstand is your ultimate teacher. It's your playground. Music is a language. The best way to learn a language is immersion amongst native speakers. They're on the bandstand.

Never let your schooling interfere with your EDUCATION.

Always have fun, honor the song, and serve the audience. Aloha!
