DeBazuinOenkerk

Originally De Bazuin Oenkerk was founded as a fanfare band in 1924 in Oenkerk, a little town in the north of The Netherlands. Later on in 1971 it changed into an English style brassband. For the last 25 years the band has always made very good results in the highest sections of contests and festivals. At home and abroad, the band has won many prizes.

Brassband De Bazuin Oenkerk has made many radio and television appearances and several succesful CD's and a DVD have been produced.

For their concerts the band uses ingredients from the classical repertoire, contemporary musicals, pop music and of course original works for brassbands. During concerts many members of the band perform as soloist. Furthermore, the band has also drawn attention with their succes in the accompany of many professional vocal and instrumental performers. A large number of well-known English brassband soloists has performed with the band at the famous annual Valentine Concerts.
