It's all about the adventure. Climb aboard and let me share it with you. We'll be fishing, we'll be cooking, hunting, building and exploring, but most of all...we'll be having fun. I've spent the last 30+ years working as a FF/Paramedic and serving as pastor to my church - and now...I'm gonna start video documenting the adventures and shenanigans that will lead into my retirement and the coming years. Joining in with me from time to time will be my beautiful and lovely wife of 32 years (no, she did not pay me for that compliment) and some of my children (we have 8) and the grand-kiddos.
Some of you will be wondering about the origin of the channel name - Slappin' Yachet TV. The word "Yachet" is a play on the word Yacht, my brother in law often referred to his flat bottom river boat as his "Yachet." And, I took the wifey fishing one day at the coast in a flat-bottom, it was rough...and the Yachet was a-slappin'. So, there you go.
