Christian Hausegger ist Shihan der Takeda Ryu Nakamura Ha und begann 1983 mit Nihon Ju-Jutsu. 1988 traf er Soke Nakamura in Belgien, seit dieser Zeit fühlt er sich dem SOBUDO-Geist der Takeda-Schule verbunden und studiert die Künste der Takeda-Samurai. Seit 2002 unterrichtet er in seiner eigenen Sportschule. Der Geist des SOBUDO eröffnete ihm den Weg zu den keltischen Kampfkünsten in Europa. 2023 traf er erstmals Ollamh Simon Keegan von Keegan Bata Irish Stick Fighting, einer der ältesten keltischen Kampfkünste Europas.
