Topp Ukuleles
An amateur woodworker exploring the world of ukulele making and restoration. The series explores the making and restoration of ukuleles starting from some simple restorations and progressing to more elaborate projects. If you like woodworking, luthiery, or ukes, this could be the video series for you. It is geared to the beginner or intermediate level woodworker. We will learn together as we take on more projects.
Skills that will eventually be covered include wood bending, shaping parts like the neck and head, inlaying a rosette around the soundhole, kerf lining, setting frets, and applying binding. Episodes will be released at a rate of about 1 per month.
