Amanda Lazkani

Amanda Lazkani, pianist, was born in 1998. A native of Brooklyn, NY, she is the youngest of three, the "baby" of the family to her Lebanese parents, and began studying the piano at 6 years old. She progressed quickly & in 2007 was accepted to the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Division, where she studied with Elena Belli.

Amanda currently teaches piano and is an integration engineer at onsemi & obtained her chemical engineering degree from Manhattan College. Formally attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in NYC, as well as the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Division, where she double majored in both piano and viola. She thoroughly enjoys the musical diversity of playing the two instruments.

Music is Amanda's special passion. It inspires her, and she takes advantage of every opportunity, both to study and to share her considerable talents. Proud of her heritage, Amanda is a frequent performer at Lebanese events and gatherings.
