Sometimes it starts with a mixtape I loved growing up. Other times, it’s something I hear on the jazz bandstand, or a melody that hits out of nowhere.
If it moves me, I’m on Shazam instantly- and very often, that becomes my day’s listen- or a YouTube video.
I don’t stick to one genre, there’s a time for All music. It depends on the mood, the moment and what resonates.
This is how I used to make mixtapes and CD’s- only now it’s videos.
