Jenny and the Mexicats, cuyo nombre es un guiño a la forma coloquial de llamar a los madrileños (gatos), uniéndola al origen de dos de sus músicos (Mexico), mezclan ritmos de jazz, rockabilly, folk, flamenco, reggae, son veracruzano, country o cumbia... lo que les imprime una personalidad única prácticamente inimitable. Sus temas saltan de uno a otro estilo con una naturalidad en apariencia imposible. Ahora te encuentras en la plaza de Garibaldi, ahora en un tablao flamenco, y de pronto, en una playa de Jamaica. Un viaje musical que nos demuestra que no hay fronteras cuando de música se trata. Tampoco hay etiquetas, ni prejuicios, ni tapujos.
