There is a kind of pinecone that only opens in the event of a forest fire. The intense heat melts the resin on the outer surface, allowing the pinecone to release the seeds inside. Without the fire, the pinecone could not seed and spread new growth.

Like pinecones, there is new growth inside all of us that can only be freed by the fires of life. Join me in exploring the contrast between suffering and comfort as I continually remind you that everything you need you already have inside.
