Sarah Menescal

Sarah Menescal, known as "The Queen of Bossa'N," is the most influential artist of her genre and the most-streamed Bossa Nova singer in the world with over 330 million plays and more than 1.5 millions listeners on digital platforms. Born in Chile, her family moved to Rio de Janeiro, where she found solace in the sounds of João Gilberto, Elis Regina, and Gal Costa. Inspired by Rita Lee’s rebellious energy, she developed her signature style: Bossa’N.

With a career spanning nearly two decades, Menescal's musical journey began when a producer from Music Brokers discovered her talent. In 2008, she recorded Don’t Speak (Jazz ’n 90s Vol. II), now with over 71 million Spotify streams.
However, it was the infectious beats of Brazilian rhythms that truly resonated with her artistic soul and in 2014 she released her debut album “ The Voice of the New Bossa Nova” that showcased an innovative approach and helped define the modern Bossa’N movement.
