xorium

2017年7月に結成されたアーティストコレクティブ。竹川 諒、中村 慎吾の2名で構成し、映像制作やプログラミング、メカニカル設計など、多彩なスキルを駆使して立体作品や空間演出を行う。

xorium is an artist collective formed in July 2017. It consists of Ryo Takegawa and Shingo Nakamura, who draw on a wide range of skills—video production, programming and mechanical design—to create three-dimensional works and spatial installations.

As digital technology has advanced at an ever-faster pace, huge amounts of information have been digitized and daily connection to the online world has become second nature. But because our only portals are screens and similar devices, that connection often feels foreign. xorium makes work rooted in the idea of sensing and inhabiting the digital world as naturally and sensorially as one might feel the forest around them.
