The Exhale Diver
Hello and welcome to The Exhale Diver. My name is Brett and I am a freediving spearfisher based in Brisbane, Australia. I have been spearfishing for more than 20 years in many amazing locations in various countries in the South Pacific where I have been fortunate to land some incredible fish. The majority of the time I have been spearfishing I have been practicing the art of exhale diving also known as FRV (functional residual volume) diving. Essentially I release about 40 - 60% of my breath before beginning the dive. Few people in the world practice this type of diving but I absolutely love it. There are many benefits to exhale diving which I detail throughout my videos.
I hope you find the videos not only entertaining but also educational.
