Who are we?
As one of Utah's largest state agencies, the Department of Natural Resources help ensure Utah's quality of life by managing and protecting our state's natural resources. We are composed of eight divisions and two offices: State Parks; Outdoor Recreation; Oil, Gas & Mining; Wildlife Resources; Water Rights; Water Resources; Forestry, Fire & State Lands; Utah Geological Survey; the Office of Energy Development and the Public Lands Policy Coordinating Office.
