Pat Barton Accordion
Pat Barton is an All-Ireland button accordion champion. He plays Irish traditional and some international accordion music.
Pat started playing the button accordion in his teens and won numerous prizes for his music from a young age, including the All Ireland Junior Fleadh and the GAA’s Scór competition.
He also holds the record of being the youngest button accordion player ever to win the All Ireland Senior Fleadh at the age of just 19.
This channel features a selection of the wide range of tunes Pat has collected in a lifetime of playing and also includes some of his own compositions. It is work in progress with new tunes being added regularly.
On the playlist page, there is a collection over 1000 trad tunes on button accordion. As well as that you will find Pat’s CDs, and various other playlists: Dwyer Tunes, Paddy O’Brien tunes, and playlists of reels, jigs, hornpipes etc.
