Lugshar

Lugshar is a one-man musical outlet started by Mateusz Ciszczoń in 2009. For a long period of time the project was mothballed, but the music was still being recorded fortuitously and gathered. This continuous process of creation took over 7 years to finally materialize both musically and conceptually and come into being as ”Muzyka naiwna”.

In musical terms, the foundation of Lugshar's sound is based on ambient and drone passages of very subtle and crystal quality. However, the lucidity of ”Muzyka naiwna” is accomplished by much more than just a conservative approach to the genre—the music is also experimental and ever-changing. It incorporates genres such as musique concrète, electro-acoustic and even folk music. All in order to find the unique and definite sound.
