A comprehensive healthcare facility, Duke Regional Hospital provides inpatient, outpatient, surgical and emergency care and features a level II Special Care Nursery, Duke Cancer Center North Durham, Duke Center for Metabolic and Weight Loss Surgery, Duke Regional Vascular Access Clinic, Duke Rehabilitation Institute and the James E. Davis Ambulatory Surgical Center. The 369-bed, acute-care hospital has served the needs of Durham and surrounding counties for more than 40 years. Duke Regional is a proud part of Duke Health, and is affiliated with Lincoln Community Health Center, a primary-care facility for underinsured and uninsured Durham residents, and Watts School of Nursing, home of the longest-running nursing diploma program in North Carolina.
