Freight Rambler

A ramble around the railways of south east England, mainly from the cab of a class 66 or if you’re lucky a class 59 ! Engines driven, my basic traction was the Class 60, also drove Class 37, Class 47, Class 58, Class 08/09, Class 66, Class 59, also dabbled with Class 67, my first depot was Old Oak Common in West London, where I started in January 1993 as a Trainman D, i moved to Acton Depot in 1994, and passed out as a Relief Driver in January 1996, becoming a “full” driver in 1997, i left Acton in December 1999, moving to Hoo Junction Depot in North Kent, and was transferred to Hither Green Depot in 2017.
