Prophet Christinah Mokotuli Nku was born on 20 April 1894 in the then Orange Free State province to sholo and Serati Magdeline Bolibe. In 1906, at the age of 12, she began to hear the Voice of the Lord.

In 1914, the Voice of the Lord gave her the name of the Church, that being St John.
In 1916, she married her husband, Lazarus Mosioa Nku. Her husband would eventually go on to become the first bishop of the church.

In 1924, the Voice instructed the prophetess to build a church with 12 doors in Evaton.
In 1932, the Lord gave her the three feasts that we still partake in until this day. In 1947, the Voice instructed her to relocate from Evaton to Sikwane, Botswana. The prophetess then fell ill and, on her deathbed, until she relocated in 1961.

The first feast held here at Motiollo was in 1968. The prophet served the Lord until the Lord called her to rest in 1988. The prophets final resting place is here at Motollo.
