Carmelite Monks of Wyoming
The Carmelite Monks of Wyoming are a Catholic cloistered contemplative community of monks within the Diocese of Cheyenne. The Carmelite Monks live a hidden life of prayer and manual labor according to the Carmelite Rule. The Wyoming Carmelites are building a Gothic monastery designed, carved and erected by the monks during their work period each day.
The Carmelite Monks are also known for Mystic Monk Coffee which they roast and sell in order to raise funds for the monastery. Mystic Monk Coffee has won many awards for its roasts and is very popular among Catholics.
