National County Lines Coordination Centre
The NCLCC was created as part of the Home Office Serious Violence Strategy.
This channel has been created following the successful Tackling County Lines Conference held in March 2021 & showcases some of the presentations
Our goal is to support forces in delivering law enforcement response to county lines, ensuring children & vulnerable adults are identified, protected & supported with offenders prosecuted.
We have 4 key areas of focus which include, Exploited Children, Movement and Transportation, Supply/Demand & Market Saturation & Operation Response.
This capability ensures collaboration between forces & Local Authorities to address the threat, as it crosses police force boundaries & links into upstream drug wholesalers including international organised criminal groups.
The threat of County Lines Drug dealing increases exploitation, illicit finance, serious violence & is a societal wide issue.
Only by collaborating can we protect those at risk and pursue those that exploit others.
