Amarylli
Hannah Grove - soprano
Elizabeth Pallett - lute
Duo members Hannah Grove (soprano, harp, recorder) and Elizabeth Pallett (lute, guitar, theorbo) formed Amarylli in 2017, bringing together their individual professional performing experience with the aim of making accessible the music of our heritage to engage new audiences.
Amarylli's characteristic style interweaves songs with spoken poetry of the genre into each performance. Their diverse collection of 8 programmes ranges from an intimate homage to Dowland to a light-hearted exploration of the Robin Hood ballads.
Since Amarylli's formation 6 years ago the duo has gone from strength to strength and their many concerts in venues and festivals across the UK have been warmly received.
