I will be sharing videos and photos of cemeteries located in Illinois and a few neighboring states. Click on the playlists to view the content choices. I have organized videos by County and State. I have made slide shows, videos, and sometimes a combination. It just depends on how things turned out and if I was using an older phone at the time.
I love the history and stories that one can learn when investigating a cemetery. I also feel it is important to document and share these memorials that represent a person's time on earth. Many stones have deteriorated to an extent that there will be nothing left to see in a few years. If possible, please locate the burial locations of your ancestors and share with the younger generation even if it is just printing off and labeling a photo you find online.
