Started by Dan Gibson, a Canadian photographer, cinematographer and sound recordist, in 1981, Dan Gibson’s Solitudes has grown to become the world’s preeminent source for environmental and nature music with global sales of over 30 million albums.
Among the more than 350 released albums there are more than 100 albums that have gone Gold, two dozens that have gone Platinum or Double Platinum.
The recordings feature original music compositions that integrate nature and environmental sounds to create a relaxing, soothing blanket of music.
