Angela Mitchell
For over a decade, Angela Mitchell has carved out a successful dual career as a classically trained soprano and a radio host, winning over audiences both on stage and on the air. She has appeared with Cleveland Opera Theater, The Cleveland Opera, the Akron Symphony, Great Lakes Light Opera, Mid-Ohio Opera, Theatre in the Circle, French Creek Theater, and Lorain Community Music Theater. As a light lyric soprano, Ms. Mitchell’s recent operatic roles include Musetta in La Bohème, Nannetta in Falstaff, Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring, Mademoiselle Silberklang in The Impresario, Kate in The Pirates of Penzance, Lucilla in La scala di seta, Pauline in La vie parisienne, and Young Amelia in Daron Hagen’s Amelia. Her musical theater credits include Agnes in I Do! I Do!, Cinderella in Into the Woods, Woman No. 2 in Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, and Emma in Jekyll & Hyde. Ms. Mitchell is also a classical radio host for WCLV Classical 104.9.
