Cross County Connection
Cross County Connection is the designated Transportation Management Association for the seven-county
southern New Jersey region: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem.
Cross County Connection assists local governments, businesses, social service organizations, residents and
employees with mobility needs by fostering the implementation and use of sustainable transportation modes.
Cross County Connection TMA was formally incorporated in 1989 through the efforts of a group of southern
New Jersey business leaders, local government officials, and representatives from the New Jersey Department
of Transportation (NJDOT) and New Jersey Transit Corporation (NJ TRANSIT) to address mobility issues in the
region and reduce the number of vehicles on state and local roadways. Today, Cross County Connection provides
solutions to complex transportation problems for counties, municipalities, employers, and commuters in
its seven-county region.
