Emir Cello is an Indonesian progressive cellist, composer, and performer based in the Netherlands. His high-energy sound fuses classical, rock, metal, and Indonesian folk, challenging imperial narratives and cultural borders.

From prestigious stages such as BIMHUIS to underground scenes across Europe and Asia, Emir creates music that’s immersive, spiritual, and unflinchingly original. His latest album Decolmuseum (2025) and power trio live project mark a new chapter in genre-defying performance.
