CUNY NYSIEB
The purpose of CUNY-NYSIEB’s new initiative, the New York State Network for Bilingual Education Programs (NYSNET-BE), is to support schools that offer bilingual education programs in New York State. This Network will provide professional development opportunities on bilingualism and education by virtually engaging participants in scholarly presentations, panel presentations by practitioners, and discussion of selected readings. In addition, the Network will make it possible for professionals in schools with bilingual programs to share information, resources and best practices with each other. Although the Network will operate virtually enabling participation of everyone in the state, there will also be possibility of face-to-face regional meetings.
The CUNY-NYSIEB Bilingual Network recently offered four webinars for the 2015 Spring Semester. All webinars were free of charge. Information on the webinars (including the archives) can be found below.
