Launched in 2012, TrailTouch was literally one of the earliest mountain bike channels on YouTube in the entire German-speaking scene. Long before the sport found its digital momentum, TrailTouch was already capturing rides, shaping community energy, and helping define what MTB content could look like online.
For years, the channel stood as a creative cornerstone — unconventional, emotional, and deeply connected to a growing audience. It left a footprint that still echoes through the German MTB community today.
But times change, passions shift, and the excitement has moved elsewhere. What remains is the filmmaking — the craft, the storytelling, the visuals. For now, the channel is not actively continued, and new uploads are unlikely in the near future.
Is this a final farewell? Hard to say. Trails have a way of looping back when you least expect it.
