Fundamentals of Houdini for Video Games
Hello, my name is Susie. I am creating a series of tutorials that will each explain one commonly used Houdini Geometry node, also called a SOP (surface operator) in detail. Alongside these will be bridging tutorials that will show you how to put these nodes together and make them into tools. We will also look at some other types of nodes that might be useful for video game asset production.
You can dip in and out of the node tutorials as and when you need them. Each will be be self contained so you can pick them up at any point. They are designed to supplement the very good node documentation available from Sidefx. Or you can work your way through the tutorials in order. The combination of nodes and bridging tutorials are intended to train a completely new Houdini user from beginner to expert. A more experience user can skip the early ones, but I will cover each subject in depth so there should be something new for everyone.
