The Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture
The Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture is a nonprofit organization that instills in adults the love of learning, the art of discussion, the opportunity for discovery and moments for reflection. The Dallas Institute creates programs that shape the way we live and think through the study of the classics, through group discussions on movies, politics, philosophy and culture, through programs for educators, through talks and lectures by national and international leaders, and through annual conferences dedicated to "What Makes a City?", the Environment and Resilience, to the life and work of Martin Luther King Jr., and to a Festival where ideas are celebrated.
