The World Beyond 7.121
Welcome to The World Beyond 7.121! On this channel we'll discuss some of my favorite topics in amateur radio. What does the strange channel name mean? Well, when I first came into the hobby as WN9QVR in 1974, I owned a venerable Drake 2-C receiver with a matching 2-NT transmitter which had only one crystal - for 7.121 MHz. For quite awhile I was restricted to a single mode (CW) on that single frequency with a single antenna. Although I look back on those days with some affection, in the intervening years I've learned a lot (and am still learning!) about amateur radio and am happy to share some of that knowledge - and learn from you as well - about the expansive amateur radio world beyond 7.121!
