"Blackontronic is a DJ and producer who operates out of a minimalist studio, combining vintage equipment from the 1980s–1990s with current software. His music is characterized by simple notes, upbeat melodies, and an emphasis on tone and atmosphere, influenced by underground hip hop, underground house music, Chicago house music, Detroit house and Lo-Fi. He complements his productions with snippets of footage from old VHS tapes, creating videos that bring his music to life."
