Tides and Tribe
We’re a father and son duo rediscovering our love for sea fishing — one trip at a time.
It all started as a fun way to bond and make the most of living by the seaside. What began with a couple of cheap rods quickly turned into our favourite shared passion. I also spent a couple of years working on a small fishing boat, whelking, potting, and netting for bass, rays, hounds, and more. My son started coming to sea at just 8 years old — and often worked harder than us.
Now he’s 15, life got busy, and fishing slipped away…
But not for long.
Tides and Tribe is our journey back to the water — learning, laughing, and hopefully catching a few fish along the way. We’re not pros. We can’t cast well. We still use cheap gear. We don’t even know how to use a multiplier yet! But we’re here to grow, learn, and share every part of the experience.
Expect fishing trips, tips we pick up along the way, and plenty of father and son banter
