Health + Life Science Alliance Heidelberg Mannheim

The Health + Life Science Alliance Heidelberg Mannheim is being supported as an innovation campus by the state of Baden-Württemberg. This alliance, backed by seven leading research institutions, aims to transform the Rhein-Neckar region into an internationally leading biomedical technology cluster, with a focus on life sciences, health economics, and medical technology. This expansion will be achieved through collaborative efforts in utilizing and advancing high-tech platforms. The research and development network includes the University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD), Mannheim University Hospital (UMM), German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), Max Planck Institute for Medical Research (MPImF), and Central Institute of Mental Health (ZI).
