Hi, I’m Ashley, the creator of ATLPlantRoom! My plant journey began in 2016 with my grandmother’s golden pothos, and my collection quickly outgrew my shelves. In 2020, I built a dedicated plant room to create the perfect environment for my plants. But I wanted more! That led me to experiment with tissue culture (now on pause) and, in 2022, dive into building terrariums—introducing isopods as a cleanup crew, which sparked a whole new obsession. Based in Atlanta (hence the name), I’m passionate about growing, learning, and sharing the beauty of plants.
My mission for this channel is to document the plant world and the people in it for generations to come while educating others about the beauty, history, and care of plants. I want to make sure this knowledge is preserved and shared so future plant lovers can continue to learn and grow.
