Welcome to PRV Iyer Laya Academy—a space created with love to share the joy, beauty, and depth of South Indian drumming. Our journey began on December 22, 2019, at Alliance Française, blessed by the presence of legends Dr. T. K. Murthy and Padma Bhushan Sri T. N. Seshagopalan.

We offer Laya Kindergarten (LKG) series — a structured 6-level learning path with easy e-learning support, helping children and young learners discover their rhythm and nurture their hidden talent at their own pace.

Through Laya Vikadam and Laya Talk, we celebrate great vidwans, showcase diverse Mridangam styles, and preserve their powerful laya wisdom for generations to come.

With the PRV Iyer Legacy Trust, we also honor and encourage young artists who carry the flame of this art forward.
